Increasing Indonesia-Australia business opportunities
Standards Australia is working with the national standards body of Indonesia, Badan Standardisasi Nasional, on a Standards Mapping Study as an early outcome of the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA). This study will help identify opportunities for enhanced standards harmonisation, technical alignment and regulatory coherence.

Feedback is sought on where standards harmonisation could be undertaken to support the successful development and implementation of the Technical Barriers to Trade chapter of IA-CEPA. The survey is open until 4 September 2017.

Food and agribusiness industry culture survey 
A first for the Australian food and agribusiness industry, the FIAL survey seeks to understand the attitudes, beliefs and dynamics of the industry in addressing challenges and opportunities. Survey closing soon.

United Arab Emirates meat industry - shelf life extension
The Australian Government has been working alongside Meat and Livestock Australia to advocate for an increase in the shelf life of Australian vacuum packed beef and sheep meat - a trade barrier for Australian meat to the Middle East.
