HERDING WITHOUT HURTING STRESS FREE STOCKMANSHIP

Stress Free Stockmanship is a combination of the best of many strands of animal & livestock research & practice. Stress Free Stockmanship is about animal handlers having the skills necessary to enable animals to initiate new, learned behaviors that positively impact people and landscapes. Day 1 and Day 2 involve short theory/video sessions to start the day before heading out to work with the goats. The group will actively work with the animals, amongst and alongside them. The first afternoon is working with the animals in various situations and watching the progress as the animals change with different approaches. This is part of the process of not only understanding the principles that apply to achieve Stress Free results but how it actually “feels”. Day 2 is flexible with more time for individual coaching and finer demonstrations of progress with the animals
2021 Adelaide Show
2021 Show dates announced
Dear John ,
Planning for the 2021 Royal Adelaide Show is underway and we are pleased to confirm the 2021 Show dates. The Show will run for 9 days starting Saturday, September 4 to Sunday, September 12.
Planning will be ongoing and in response to competition schedules and pandemic event protocols. The Society is pleased to respond to the significant positive public and exhibitor support for the Royal Adelaide Show and aims to present all elements of the Show in 2021.
Regular updates and information will be communicated as further details come to hand.
The 2021 Royal Adelaide Show will be held from Saturday, September 4 to Sunday, September 12.
