Fee Schedule

Membership with BGBAA allows members to focus on maximising the outcomes of their Boer breeding business through the registration of animals which allows breeders to present animals to the market as pedigree Boer Goats.

Membership also provides a direct communication link between members about market opportunities as well as a substantial benefit by having access to mentors, expertise and experience.

BGBAA Membership Fees

Membership Period: 1 July – 30 June
All fees are GST inclusive

Membership Categories

Full Membership

  • $300 annually if paid by 30 September

  • $400 annually if paid after 1 October

International Membership

  • $285 annually

Commercial Membership

  • $90 annually

Junior or School Membership

  • $45 annually

New Membership Fees

Joining Fee (once-off): $50
Stud Prefix Registration (once-off): $100

Membership Charges

  • Full Membership: $300

  • International Membership: $285

  • Pro-rata membership: $25 per month for the remaining year

  • Junior Membership: $45

Credit Card Charges

  • International: 5%

  • Australia: 1%

Registration Fees

Registrations and transfers must be completed within 60 days of sale, as per regulations.
Fullblood goats over 3 years of age incur double the standard registration fee.

Registration with Printed Certificate

  • Online registration: $15

  • Online registration and transfer (same time): $30

  • Manual registration: $20

  • Manual registration and transfer (same time): $35

Animal Transfers

  • Manual or online transfer: $20
    (Online transfers are available to international members only.)

If a certificate is required after a registration without a certificate:

  • $5 if no changes are required

  • $20 if changes are required
    (This also applies to certificate reprints requested by the breeder.)

Transfers from Other Approved Breed Associations

  • Transfer registration fee: $40

Current registration certificates must be supplied to the Registrar.
If additional work is required, it will be charged at $80 per hour.

Extraordinary Registrations & Registrar Charges

Any registrations or work deemed extraordinary will be charged at $80 per hour.
This may include investigations or follow-ups related to transfers or export details.
Members will be advised prior to work commencing.

Postage Charges

  • Australia: $5 flat rate per envelope

  • International: $25 per envelope

  • Registered or Express Post charged on an individual basis

Additional Services

  • Fate updates: Free

  • Website advertising: Free

  • Bulk member email for auction or sale advertising: $40
